Qmee Review 2026: No-Minimum Cash-Outs and Their Limits

Table of Contents

This Qmee review looks at one of the few survey apps that lets you cash out any amount to PayPal or Venmo. That’s a real advantage when most apps make you wait for $5 or $10. But “no minimum” comes with conditions, and Qmee’s ownership has changed in ways most reviews haven’t caught up with.

Disclosure: Paid Surveys Club may earn a referral commission if you join Qmee through a link on this site. It doesn’t change our assessment.

📌 Quick answer: Qmee is a legitimate rewards app owned by Kantar, a major market research group. You can cash out any amount to PayPal or Venmo, but your PayPal account must be fully verified, and gift cards need a PayPal cash-out first. Expect some surveys to be declined, even late, and don’t leave a balance unused for a year.

Who runs Qmee in 2026?

Ownership needs a closer look in any Qmee review, because the name on the app and the company behind it no longer match. Qmee started as a UK company based in Reading. In May 2022, the research group Kantar agreed to buy it from its majority owner, the private equity firm capital D. At the time, Kantar said Qmee had more than 750,000 active panel members.

The paperwork has changed since then:

  • The terms, last updated in February 2026, say the service is “operated by Kantar UK Ltd” and that Qmee is a registered trade mark of Kantar UK Ltd.
  • The privacy notice, updated 1 October 2026, names Lightspeed LLC in New York, a Kantar Group company, as the data controller.
  • The original company, Qmee Ltd, entered a members’ voluntary liquidation on 26 January 2026, according to Companies House. Its directors filed a declaration of solvency.

That last point sounds alarming, but it isn’t a sign that Qmee is closing. A members’ voluntary liquidation is used to wind up a company that can pay its debts in full, and it’s often used to tidy up group structures after an acquisition. The service is still running: its privacy notice was updated in October 2026, and support still answers reviews. One small oddity: the website footer still reads “© Qmee Ltd 2026”.

How you earn on Qmee

One thing this Qmee review should make clear: Qmee isn’t only a survey app. Its website lists four ways to earn:

  • Surveys: the main earner for most members.
  • Cashback: money back when you shop with partner brands.
  • Deals: discounts and offers from brands.
  • Games: rewards for playing partner games.

There’s also a browser extension and desktop app that, according to the FAQ, pay “extra cash when you search for your favorite sites”.

Cashback is the slowest. The FAQ says it can take up to 90 days to confirm, unless the offer says otherwise, while the brand checks that you met its conditions.

Qmee payout: how the no-minimum cash-out works

PayPal and Venmo

The no-minimum Qmee payout is the app’s headline feature. The FAQ says that “with no minimum withdrawal amount, you can cashout to your PayPal or Venmo account whenever you like”. Money should appear “within a few minutes”, though banking hours and systems outside Qmee’s control can cause delays.

The condition: your PayPal account “must be fully verified”. If it isn’t, sort that out with PayPal before you try to cash out.

Gift cards and charity

Gift cards come in set amounts, so they do have a practical minimum. Before your first gift card, Qmee may ask you to verify your identity by cashing out any amount to a linked PayPal account. The terms also allow it to use another identity-checking service.

You can donate your balance to charity instead. The FAQ says Qmee takes no commission on donations.

The February 2026 pause

A Qmee payout to PayPal or Venmo isn’t guaranteed to be available every day. In early February 2026, Qmee’s posts on X said it had deliberately removed PayPal and Venmo while it fixed a cash-out problem, to avoid failed payments. The FAQ lists both methods again now. Still, the episode is a reminder not to let a large balance build up on any app.

For how cash, points and gift cards compare in general, see our guide to paid survey payments.

The limits behind “no minimum”

A Qmee payout may be easy, but earning the balance has catches of its own.

Declined surveys. Survey providers can reject your answers after quality checks. Qmee’s FAQ says careful answers “help to reduce these declines”. In replies to reviewers, the company says it has “no control over declined surveys” and that declining a survey late, or on completion, “is allowed industry-wide when providers have a reason”. As it puts it: “providers buy your submission, not your time.” Our guide to why you get disqualified from paid surveys explains what’s behind this.

Unused balances. The terms say: “If your account has not been used for one (1) year or more we will retain the balance in the account.” In other words, don’t leave money sitting in a Qmee account you’ve stopped using.

One account only. The terms allow one account per person. Earnings on extra accounts may not be paid.

Account suspension. Qmee can suspend an account at its discretion, and stop payments altogether if it suspects misuse.

Is Qmee legit?

Yes. Qmee has been running since the early 2010s, is owned by Kantar, and says it has paid users more than $45 million. That figure is the company’s own claim. Many members report fast PayPal and Venmo payments.

Being legitimate doesn’t mean every survey pays. Declines, slow support and occasional cash-out problems come up often in Qmee reviews from members, as the next section shows.

What members say in Qmee reviews

On Trustpilot, Qmee had a TrustScore of 3.5 from 10,110 reviews when we checked. About 64% were five-star and 15% were one-star. The company replies to almost all negative reviews, usually within a day.

The iPhone app scores 4.6 from about 35,000 ratings on the US App Store, though many of the visible App Store reviews are several years old.

Quick surveys and an easy appCash-out errors and withheld balances

Individual Qmee reviews are self-selected, so these themes aren’t a measured rate. The pattern is consistent, though: people like the cash-out and dislike the declines.

Frequently asked questions

Is Qmee legit?

Yes. Our Qmee review found it’s owned by Kantar, and the terms name Kantar UK Ltd as the operator. Many members report fast payments, though declined surveys are a common complaint.

Does Qmee really have no minimum cash-out?

Yes. According to the FAQ, a Qmee payout to PayPal or Venmo has no minimum. Gift cards come in set amounts, and your first gift card may require a PayPal cash-out to verify your identity.

How fast is a Qmee payout?

Qmee says PayPal and Venmo payments appear “within a few minutes”. Banking hours and outside systems can cause delays.

Is Qmee shutting down?

There’s no sign of that. The original company, Qmee Ltd, is being wound up in a solvent liquidation, but the service is run by Kantar UK Ltd under its current terms and was still operating when we checked in October 2026.

Why was my Qmee survey declined?

Survey providers check answers for quality and can decline a survey, even at the end. Qmee says it has no control over these decisions. Careful, consistent answers reduce the risk.

What happens to my Qmee balance if I stop using it?

The terms say Qmee will retain the balance of an account that hasn’t been used for a year or more. Cash out before you stop.

The bottom line

This Qmee review found a legitimate, Kantar-owned app with a genuinely useful perk: cash-outs of any size to PayPal or Venmo. Verify your PayPal account first, expect some declined surveys, and cash out regularly rather than letting a balance sit. If small, frequent withdrawals matter to you, Qmee is worth a place on your shortlist. Our Top 10 paid surveys guide shows the alternatives.
